honor of the 150th anniversary of the founding of Washington University,
the annual Founders Day celebration has been greatly expanded to
include a week of events for alumni, students, faculty, staff, and
community members.
Founders
Week kicks off with Washington University's 150th Birthday Party
on Sunday, September 14. The week concludes with the annual Founders
Day dinner.

our founding year. This is one segment of a short course being
presented by University College.

Eliot Society Seminar Series Preview:
The Challenges of Globalization
Eliot Society members are invited to preview this
fall's
annual Eliot Society Seminar Series. A panel presentation and
discussion coordinated by the University's Weidenbaum Center
will explore the issues of international trade, the environment,
and security from a global perspective.

for all returning
