I send greetings to those commemorating the 150th anniversary of Washington University in St. Louis. This milestone provides an opportunity for faculty, staff, students, and alumni to celebrate your school's history and many accomplishments. Since 1853, Washington University has educated students from across our Nation and prepared them to be leaders in their communities and our country.
